Do I need dive experience?
No prior experience required—training and support are provided.

What gear is provided?
All essential dive equipment is supplied. Just bring personal items.

Is scuba diving safe?
Yes. Certified instructors and strict safety protocols ensure an enjoyable experience. However, as with anything there are risks and risks increase when safety protocols are not followed.

How do I sign up?
Visit the DIVE JOURNEY page and complete the online application form.

Are retreats free?
Qualified participants may have all or part of their retreat covered. Donations help keep the program accessible. The Dive Within is transparent with applicants about equipment, course, and retreat funding.

How can I support The Dive Within?
Be an advocate. Share information with community members and on social media. Let others know how to be a sponsor.

Do I need extra Insurance?
Divers Alert Network - DAN and Dive Assure offer student diver coverage through your dive instructor for your iniitial Open Water Diver training up until certification. After your certification, it is wise to secure your own policy.

How long is my Diver Medical Questionairre good for?
Your medical questionairre is valid for one year. However, it becomes invalid during that time if your health changes.
